Applications may be submitted directly at the BLS offices in Rabat from Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM:
Family members of citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland who accompany the EU, EEA, or Swiss citizen to Spain, or who intend to join them in Spain.
University students. This includes individuals enrolled in a public university in Spain who hold the Spanish Selectividad and/or a recognized equivalent high school diploma, as well as those enrolled in a private university in Spain to pursue university studies. It also includes applicants enrolled in a master’s or postgraduate program, holders of internship agreements or contracts with a duration of less than 90 days, students participating in an Erasmus program, and participants in seminars or conferences at Spanish universities.
From now on, the Rabat center will only accept applications from persons whose
passports fall under the jurisdiction of the city of Rabat.
Please consult our website to verify the information regarding the competent
jurisdictions.
Therefore, applications will not be accepted if the national identity card
corresponds to Rabat while the passport belongs to another jurisdiction.

Please be informed that, effective immediately, for the submission or collection of
documents, notifications, or passport retrieval on behalf of the applicant, it is mandatory to
provide an original power of attorney issued before a local notary by the applicant in favor of
the authorized representative.
The power of attorney must explicitly state the representative’s authority for all
concerned procedures, including passport collection when applicable. It must also be duly
legalized and translated into French or Spanish, together with the original receipt, a copy of
the applicant’s national identity card, and a copy of the authorized representative’s national
identity card.
It is recommended to submit this power of attorney at the time of application
submission in order to avoid any future delays or issues.
Schengen Visa Holders:
Applicants holding a Schengen visa valid for one year or more (including spouses and children
under 18) issued within the last 4 years may submit a new application without a prior
appointment:
Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (subject to weekly quota availability)
Please note: As per the guidance from the Consulate of Spain, copies of the previous visas and
passports must be provided. Applications will not be accepted without these documents.
Applicants who have held three Schengen visas (each less than 90 days) within the last 4 years
(including spouses and children under 18) may submit a new application without a prior
appointment:

Official Notice – Clarification Regarding Visa Appointments (Spain)
BLS International would like to inform all applicants that the information currently circulating
on social media regarding “urgent walk-in visa appointments without prior booking” is false and
misleading.
Language students do not receive any preferential treatment; they must make an appointment. Only
university students can go without an appointment.
Please note the following:
- All visa applications for Spain must be submitted strictly by prior appointment through the
official booking channels.
- Applicants are strongly advised to rely only on official communication channels for
accurate and up-to-date information.
Any applicant visiting the center without a valid appointment will not be allowed entry, in
accordance with standard procedures.
We urge everyone to remain vigilant against misinformation and to avoid relying on unofficial
sources.

Important Information for Applicants in Rabat
We kindly inform all applicants of the following:
- Passport Collection
Passports must be collected in person by the applicant only. Collection by a third party is
not permitted, even with an authorisation letter.
- Public Holidays

- Children Under 12
As per the guidance from the Consulate of Spain, children under 12 years of age will not be
permitted inside the Visa Application Centre in Rabat.
Applicants only need to submit a recent photograph (taken within the last one month) of the
child.
Please note: As per the guidance from the Consulate of Spain, copies of the previous visas and
passports must be provided. Applications will not be accepted without these documents.
- Appointments & Fraud Prevention
Appointments are required for submission of visa applications. Applicants are requested to
schedule their appointments only via the official BLS International website.
To ensure fair access and prevent misuse, IP address verification is implemented during the
appointment booking process.
- Special Access (Prior Visa Holders)
Applicants holding a Schengen visa (valid for less than one year) issued by any Schengen
country since 2023 can access a dedicated appointment category.

Applicants are required to submit a copy of their visa at the time of application. If copies
of the visa are not provided, the application will not be accepted. (Applicable to

Walk-in (Without Appointment) applicable for following category of applicants:

University Students – Walk-in Applications (No Appointment Needed)
University-related visa applicants may also apply without prior appointment, Monday to Friday,
from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Eligible categories include:
- Students admitted to public universities in Spain (including those who have passed
Selectividad and/or approved Baccalaureate)
- Students admitted to private universities in Spain
- Applicants enrolled in Master’s/Postgraduate programs in Spain
- Applicants with internship agreements/contracts in Spain
- Students participating in the Erasmus program
Submission of university visa applications will be accepted directly at BLS International - Rabat
without prior appointment to facilitate faster processing.
Language Study Visa and Other Types: (No Appointment Needed)
Applicants may also apply without prior appointment, Monday to Friday, from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.

Applicant Awareness:
BLS International advises visa applicants to be cautious and vigilant regarding the following

- *Our staff never ask visa applicants to pay in cash or via any other payment method to
secure an appointment, speed up the visa application process, secure an earlier appointment
or influence decision making.
- *We do not recommend direct payment into personal bank accounts.
- *Appointments should only be booked via the BLS International website, please check the
website for authorized service charges payable to BLS International.
- *Always request a receipt for optional value added services available at our Centre.
- *The decision on the visa application is made solely by the relevant authorities, and BLS
International has no role or influence in this process.
- *If you receive such a request (in writing or verbally), please report it immediately by
filling in the complaint form or by sending an e-mail to antifraud@blsinternational.com or
to the Centre Manager.
Beware of intermediaries selling visa appointments under the name of BLS International or
individually outside our Centre.
All appointments must be booked through the BLS International website. Please do not purchase
appointments through a third party: this is a fraudulent practice that BLS International

For joint applications, payment must be made using a credit card registered in the name of one
of the applicants.
